The Ministry for Coordination of Environmental Action ( MICOA ) and the General Directorate of the Federal Belgian Government for the Environment , organized a Workshop on Climate Financing in Mozambique – Identify and Prioritize Appropriate Mitigation Actions and Interventions in Areas of Coal Production and Waste urban , on February 18, 2014 , held at Hotel Cardoso , Mozambique , Maputo . This workshop was attended by over 80 participants , among other representatives of the following 10 counties : Vilanculos , Maputo , Matola , Pemba , Nacala , Nampula , Quelimane , Chimoio , XaiXai , Tete , which had special participation of the Presidents of the Municipal Council of Vilanculos , Quelimane and XaiXai . The issues highlighted were: NAMAs , CDM , the Belgian Government initiatives in Mozambique , sustainable charcoal production and treatment of municipal waste . In this context, LOVE had the opportunity to introduce the concept of Recycling and Transfer Center ( CTR ) and the first results of the Transfer and Recycling Center implemented in Vilanculos .
