AMOR promotes 3Rs in the 5th exhibition ““Eu Sou Amigo da Mãe Natureza”

The Mozambican Recycling Association (AMOR) participated, on June 20, as speaker in the 5th edition of the exhibition “I Am Friend of Mother Nature”, held at the Portuguese Cultural Center, in the City of Beira, at the invitation of the Young People of Difference Association.

Under the theme “Importance of 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle in the context of Beira”, AMOR streamlined an interactive session that was attended by students of Primary School 12 de Outubro, teachers, institutional partners and environmental technicians.

During the session, good practices of conscious consumption, creative reuse of materials and adequate separation of waste were shared. The activity also included an educational quiz, which combined learning with playful moments, encouraging the active participation of all those present.

AMOR highlighted that environmental education is an essential tool for the formation of citizens responsible and committed to sustainability. Initiatives like this contribute to the creation of a positive and lasting environmental culture.

“Being a friend of Mother Nature begins with small gestures, and together, we make a difference,” the organization said.
