The AGEO project aims to promote the sustainable and integrated management of marine and coastal natural resources in the Macaneta Peninsula by strengthening the technical capacity of local authorities, promoting the blue-green economy, and raising environmental awareness among all residents and users of the area over a period of 36 months (2023-2025).
The project is funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and coordinated by Italian Cooperation, represented by Helpcode, in partnership with three specialized organizations: ASeS (Agricoltori Solidarietà e Sviluppo), AMOR (Mozambican Recycling Association), and PMM (Progettomondo). Each consortium partner will be responsible for implementing specific activities that will contribute to achieving the environmental, economic, and social sustainability of the Macaneta Peninsula.
