AMOR participated in the Fórum Pro Ambiente AMOR participated in a meeting called “Pro Ambiente” (Pro Environment), which took place in the amphitheatre of the faculty of Social Sciences at the ‘Universidade Pedagógica’ (Pedagogical University). The main goal was to discuss the activities and role of civil society organizations in Environmental Education. Besides the discussion, AMOR organized a workshop, open for everybody, in which people could learn how to make a wallet out of an empty juice package (named ‘Gud’) of the company Compal. The goal of this exposition was to show that reusing packages does not only contribute to the preservation of the environment, but that the packages can also serve as a source of income: the production of the material of the packages is very cheap or the production of the packages is very cheap (as otherwise they would have been treated as waste).
