VINCI Energies, AMOR, PARA Maputo and PNAN promote environmental action in Maputo National Park.

The VINCI Energies group, through its SOTMOZ and Axians brands, in partnership with the Mozambican Recycling Association (AMOR), the Maputo Environmental Protection Area (APA Maputo), and the Maputo National Park (PNAM), carried out a high-impact environmental action in Maputo National Park on Monday, September 22nd, as part of the celebrations for “World Environment Day 2025”.

With the participation of 50 people, including SOTMOZ and Axians employees, AMOR technicians, representatives from APA Maputo, PNAM, and the Association of Final Year University Students of Mozambique (AEFUM), the activity aimed to promote the involvement of the private sector in environmental protection, raise awareness of the impacts of wildfires and deforestation, and reinforce ecological restoration practices and sustainable coastal management.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in various educational and environmental activities, such as plogging walks, guided safaris, and awareness sessions on good ecological practices.

With this initiative, VINCI Energies reinforces its position as an environmentally responsible company committed to building a more sustainable future for Mozambique, highlighting the value of collaboration between the private sector, civil society, and conservation authorities.
