Summary of activities for the month of April-Beira

Since the first two (2) weeks of April AMOR has been involved in assisting and accompanying the Environment and Citizenship Clubs (CACs) in the preparation of the activities to be presented by the respective schools involved in the EU-funded project “Environment and Citizenship” implemented by Mozambican Government through the Non-State Actors Support Program (PAANE), since 2016, when we strengthened and streamlined the CACs. In general, the CACs focused on summarizing the knowledge acquired during these years in the field of active citizenship in the preservation of the environment.

The closing event was held on April 14, 2018, at Manga Secondary School together with the ESMABAMA association, starting with the national anthem, presenting the activities prepared by the CACs in theatrical, exhibition, poetry, singing and dance . The event was attended by representatives of the European Union, PAANE, GON, DPEDH and ended at 12.00 p.m. at which time the snack was served.
