Summary of Activity – July – Beira

As part of the Environment Friendly Citizens project that the Mozambican Recycling Association implements in the city of Beira, funded by the European Union and in partnership with provincial authorities, during July AMOR carried out the following activity:

2nd Meeting with School Focal Points

These Focal Points are the school-level representatives who coordinate the activities of the CACs who are the students who are directly linked to the project, with a number of 30 per club. In order to better coordinate the activities of the clubs and also to know the level of activities developed by the clubs, AMOR organized a meeting on July 26 at its office, which is the second of the program.

In response to one of the goals of the Mozambican Recycling Association, which is to have more active and independent Focal Points in the activities carried out in the educational institutions where the Citizen Friends of the Environment project is being developed.

Focal Points from 8 schools were present, bringing contributions of project implementation improvements in schools along with CAC member students.
