Last Saturday, March 5th, the cleaning day took place at Praia do Estoril, organized by the charity “De Nós Pra Nós” in partnership with AMOR – Associação Moçambicana de Reciclagem and Let’s Do It Mozambique, in the city of from Beira.
The event was attended by partners, civil society, where at the beginning the Operations Manager of AMOR, Fátima Isequiel, gave a short explanation on how to collect different types of waste, forms of protection and handling.
Finally, the cleaning was a success, having collected various waste, such as glass bottles, PET plastic bottles, cardboard and organic waste, filling a garbage container and two big-bags of PET bottles taken for recycling weighing 60 kg.
It should be noted that the action takes place within the scope of the “Citizens Friends of Environment” project financed by the European Union and implemented by AMOR.
