AMOR Identifies Recyclable Material Buying and Selling Companies

As part of the project “Stock Exchange Platform for Waste Recycling” financed by the Irish Embassy with support from the Municipality of Maputo City – Environment and Health Directorate and implemented by AMOR – Mozambican Recycling Association, the AMOR Maputo team has been carrying out activities to identify companies that buy and sell recyclable material in the cities of Maputo and Matola.

The project aims to provide greater transparency in the recycling sector in the process of buying and selling recyclable material in the cities of Maputo, Matola, Beira, Nampula and Pemba, where, in a first phase, groups of recyclable material collectors were identified. at CONSOL and at the Hulene garbage dump, in Maputo City, so that they can benefit from the project.
