The following activities took place during November:

On November 17, 2018, AMOR participated in the closing event of the academic year in the Lhamanculo neighborhood, in the Primary School Unit 13 organized by AVSI in the framework of the “Educate for Beauty” project through an exhibition of materials recyclable. This event was attended by the school board, teachers, students, parents and caregivers.

On November 24, 2018, AMOR in partnership with AVSI in the scope of the Selective Collection and Environmental Education Project, held the closing event of its activities at Primary School Unit 13, students from environmental clubs, teachers and directors of the 11 schools Municipal District Nlhamanculo covered by the project. Several activities were presented such as: traditional dance, singing and theater performed by students from environmental clubs and exhibition of various objects of solid waste reuse.
We expect environmental clubs to remain active both in school and in the community. We are grateful for the support of AVSI, the City Council of Maputo City, the school boards, the environmental clubs and all those who contributed to the success of this initiative.
